Warp Speed Fat Loss

My client, John Wallace (pictured below flipping a 200 lb. tractor tire at 50 years of age :), and I have recently been featured in an online audio interview at http://www.warpspeedfatloss.com/.




Warp Speed Fat Loss is a new program created by Nationally renowned nutrition guru Mike Roussell along with trainer extraordinaire Alwyn Cosgrove (Men's Health, Oxygen, Men's Fitness magazines). The Warp Speed Fat Loss program was created in order to, as the name implies, maximize fat loss by combining the following:



  • Calorie restricted nutrition with a focus on maximizing the thermic effect of feeding and cycling carbohydrate intake based on the amount and type of activity being performed on a given day

  • Pure strength training AND metabolic, fat loss inducing resistance training (high volume, multiple joint exercises, short rest periods

  • High intensity interval cardiovascular training

  • Steady state (traditional) cardiovascular training

John was a "test" subject for this program, and I oversaw his training during a the four week Warp Speed Fat Loss program. The results: JOHN LOST 13.5 LBS. IN FOUR (4) WEEKS!!! In addition, his strength increased substantially despite being a calorie restricted diet which was often low in carbohydrate intake, as did his overall level of conditioning and work capacity.


John's results really caused me to "tweak" my training routines a bit (although a lot of what Alwyn Cosgrove suggests we were doing to begin with) with all of my clients, as almost all of them are striving for the "toned athletic" look and increased fat loss.
