This new study, which has been reported all over in the popular media the last two days, really might make medical professionals, government agencies, and prominent diet and nutrition organizations (like the American Dietetic Association) sit up and take note, because you can't argue with the results.

I certainly had success after following the Atkins diet - lost 10h / 22lbs while "on Atkins". I am now back to a more balanced diet, mostly because I was eating too much processed meat (my fault, not Dr. Atkins'). But low carb does work, especially if you have more weight to lose to start with.
