While I and many other fitness professionals repeatedly tell our clients and readers to eat copious amounts of vegetables, we sometimes forget many people have a hard time digesting and absorbing large amounts. Often times, especially when one goes from eating virtually no vegetables to eating a large amount, eating large quantities can cause bloating, flatulence, and diarrhea.
